Powell @ 8 Weeks
My name is John and to the left is my foster dog Powell, who I am raising to be a Service Dog for Canine Companions for Independence. We live in sunny southern california, Costa Mesa in particular (next to Newport Beach made famous in the Fox show "The OC"). I started this site in my spare time as a fun project to help people like yourself find that perfect name for your dog.
I am amazed at the popularity of the site which grew from just a few hundred names to now over 6000. We get 1000's of visitors a month and it just keeps growing!
When I'm not working on the site, I run a wholesale pet supply company, go surfing, fishing, wakeboarding, cheer on my alma mater Trojans of USC and of course walks with Powell. Because he is a service puppy in training, he gets to go everywhere I go; shopping, golfing, meetings, etc.
